Although he might be considered an average runner at best,
Geoff Cook has earned his way onto the URS's Hall-of-Fame.
He is the winner of
The Ramblings first ever contest.  The
contest entailed getting the most friends, family or arch
enemies to sign up for the newsletter.  Geoff's prize was
Megan Burns' Grand Prix trophy autographed by Tommy's
neighbor, Bob.  It should be noted that Megan is not a Society
Member and doesn't know we gave her trophy away.  We of
course find that to be even funnier.

But that isn't enough, Geoff was also the lone award winner at
the first annual Krispy Kreme Invitational.  Geoff consumed a
half a dozen doughnuts and two pints of milk to capture the
most time bonuses which vaulted his finish place from 4th
overall to second.
